35 1/2 Weeks

Today I had my 36 week appointment. It went pretty well. They measured my belly (35 cm), listened for the baby's heartbeat (160), did my GBS culture, and did an exam. The baby is head down, I'm dialated 1 cm, and 75% effaced. My induction date is set for November 14, 2008. That's really all that's going on. My next appointment is in a week. I have a neighbor who is a week ahead of me in her pregnancy and she's at 2.5 already (this is her 3rd baby) and her doctor thinks that she could go within the next week. Hopefully, I'll get good news like that next week!
