Too long...

I know, it's been a really long time since I've updated the blog! So much has been going on I feel like I don't have time anymore!
Our house has been on the market for about a month and we've had quite a few showings. There was a couple who came a few weeks ago, then came back a few days later. They are trying to decide between our house and another home. We're hoping to hear one way or the other in the next few days or weeks. If our home doesn't sell, we're fine staying where we are. We'll probably refinance to take advantage of the lower interest rates and then finish our basement. We really feel like we're running out of room! We've been so blessed to have such great neighbors and friends but we would love to be closer to family. Steve's brother and sister and their families live in the Logan area, and most of my family is now in the Ogden area.

This picture was taken about a month before we moved in. Wow, 5 years!

Jackson is all over the place. He's such a good baby! He's always happy. He now has 5 teeth and loves to stand up and walk along furniture. He jabbers all the time. Even though we know he's not really saying anything yet it makes me realize how grown up he is and it makes me want another one... But we'll wait until he's at least 15 months old AND Brady is potty trained. Jack is almost up to the next car seat. I can't wait to have him forward facing. He'll LOVE it! I think that we might put Brady in booster (he's only about 1/2 - 1 inch short right now) and then give Jackson his old one.

Brady loves his baby brother. They play so well together. It's so fun to have conversations with Brady. He loves to watch Imagination Movers. He's been taking off his pants when he goes to bed so when we check on him before we go to bed we have to put them back on. He hasn't shown any real interest in potty training yet, but if he hasn't by the time he's 3, we're going for it. Wish us luck!

I have taken a part time evening job at Target. While I don't enjoy the area I work in at all, it's nice to get out of the house and earn some money to get us ahead of our debt (we don't have much, just a small credit card). I work in "Food Avenue" or the Cafe. I would love a job in Medical Assisting, but there were none available part time at night. Oh, well. At least it's not permanent! Once we sell the house, we'll be able to use most of the money for a down payment on our next home and the rest will go towards the card. Steve is still working for Oracle. He would love to try and get into their IT department. We've been feeling like his job isn't as secure as it was a year ago. We're so grateful that he has a job. I know that there are many who are struggling. He'd like to go back to school and either get his Master's or learn a new trade. There are so many options available, we just need to wait and see where we end up!
