Emma is now 7 1/2 months old and has 2 teeth. She loves her brothers and has lots of smiles for them. She's definitely a mommy's girl, which I love! She has been growing and developing as she should. She sleeps and eats well. She's not really up to much at this point, she's just busy growing and learning! She's losing her baby features. Her hair is thicker and longer and doesn't stick up all frizzy like it used to. We love having her in our home. She's such a joy! I have really enjoyed nursing Emma. I almost gave up so many times ( I was on a dairy free, egg free, nut free diet for a while) and am so glad I stuck with it. We're still going strong, although we're starting to wean down a little so I can use the supply I had to pump early on...
Jackson turned 3 in November. He also got potty trained that same month. He's been having fun hanging out with me while Brady goes to preschool. He loves to role play with his brother and they love to act out their favorite movies. He loves coloring (you should see the pencil murals on my walls) and play doh. He loves to play board games and make messes. He's excited for the day he can do Itty Bitty Football and go to preschool.
Brady loves going to preschool and learning new things! It's been so much fun for him to experience time away from me and to get him ready for kindergarten. He played Itty Bitty Football last fall and loved it. I can't wait for him to play other sports this summer! He likes to play games on the wii and is good to wait until we tell him it's okay to play. He playes will with Jackson and LOVES to make Emma smile and laugh. He recently turned 5 and we had his first friend birthday party. It was a great time! We also got him registered for kindergarten. I can't believe he'll start in the fall!
Steve and I celebrated 9 years of wedded bliss in August and we went to a family reunion to Lava Hot Springs in September. Emma did great being only 2 months old. Steve's job is going well enough. He's had some great success! I love being home with the kids and appreciate him working so hard so I can. We have been spending a lot of time this winter at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. We got a year membership and have been taking advantage of it! I think it's paid for itself twice over! We had a great Thanksgiving with Steve's family and an amazing Christmas. Now that it's coming up on Spring, we're excited to spend more time outside. I have a list of things I want to get done. Now to find the time to do it! I would love to go on a family vacation, but we have other priorities this year. Maybe next year!
Well, I still need to go through all the pictures (the many, many pictures) on our camera and when I do, I'll do a post of just pictures so you can see how the kids have changed!
