BOY! Steve took the day off work so he could be there. Of course, he wouldn't have missed it for anything. We got up to get ready this morning and made it to the appointment with plenty of time to spare. My bladder was so full, I thought I was going to pop! The ultrasound tech was running behind which made it feel even worse. "Boy parts"
When it was finally our turn, Steve, Brady and I went into the room and got our video recorded. She measured the baby's head, stomach, legs, checked his lips for cleft lip, measured his kidneys, and checked for his "little boy parts". He wasn't shy at all! As you can see, he was perfectly okay with showing it all off. They also checked the heart rate (163) and looked at the umbilical cord, which looked great. When the baby came on the screen, Brady looked at it and said "bab-b" like he has at all my ultrasounds. Now, we'll be able to teach him that it's his baby brother. We are so excited to be able to call him by a gender now instead of "it" or "he or she".
Profile (head is at the bottom in the middle)There was some initial disappointment that it's not a sister, but I actually couldn't be happier. I think I'm a "boys" mom which is not a bad thing. I do hope for a girl someday but if it doesn't happen, that's okay! I love my boys. For one thing, we don't have to buy girly clothes. This little guy can use all of Brady's old stuff. He's got little chicken legs. Tiny and skinny. There is so much more that they told us and I just can't remember it all right now. My next appointment is in 4 weeks. It's going by so fast!

Congratulations! I kind of feel like I'm a 'boys mom' too, but we'll have to wait another 9 weeks to find out for sure.
Congratulations! You will be a PRO!
Congratulations!!! So fun! I'm glad your little boy wasn't shy for you. It's such a pain when they won't let you see what they are. Both my girls were like that!
Congrats! That will be so fun to have two little buddies! Especially since they will be so close in age! How fun!
Congratulations! Boys are so fun! And brothers are even better!
Tell Steve Congratulations too!
