Lehi City Round-Up Days

We had a great time last weekend at Lehi City Round-Up Days! Saturday morning, we went to the parade (but accidentally left the camera at home). Brady loved watching the floats pass by and the horses and stuff. Our ward's float came in 2nd place. I would post a picture of it if I had one... It was a really long parade, I think it lasted about 2-3 hours. The mascots from UVU and the Utah Flash were there. The UVU Wolverine took Steve's Aggie (USU) hat and rubbed it in his armpit. It was pretty funny. After the parade, we went to Wines Park where they had a carnival set up. Brady got a pony ride.

They also had a petting zoo. Brady loved the turtles, they were HUGE! There were also pigs, sheep, chickens, goats, cows, and even a llama! I wanted to get his face painted, but the line was really long.

After the carnival (we didn't stay very long), we went to a local museum and walked around. They had a lot of WWI and WWII memorabilia. There was also a Wild, Wild West area, Geological area, Indian area, Oceanic area, Dinosaur area, and reptile area. There were live snakes and tarantulas there. I was a little creeped out. And that was it for the day. It was really hot and we were excited to get home to the cool house and relax.

It sounds like you had a very full, exciting fun day! Love the pictures of that cute little brady! I don't blame you one bit for wanting to get back home and out of the heat.=) I would have done the same thing!
