Jam, swimming, teeth, and jibberish...

We've had an eventful couple of weeks!

We'll start with the jam. We went to a viewing in Logan last week and on our way dropped the boys off with my parents. When we got back to their house to pick them up, we also picked up some raspberries and apricots from their garden. I had never canned anything before, but I'd seen my mom do it. I thought I'd like to give it a shot. I let the apricots ripen for a few more days and last weekend Steve and I made the jam. It tastes SO GOOD! I made raspberry apricot. I'm excited to do more with canning. I think in the fall I'll can some salsa. I just hope I can make it as good as my mom does. Thanks Mom & Dad for the fruit!

This last Tuesday, we went to the annual Surf N Swim party for my mom's work. We had a good group from our family there. Stacey, Sadie, Leslie, Catie, Steve, me, Jackson, Brady, Grandma, Jaylee, and Jace. Surf N Swim is a ginormous wave pool in Layton. We ate a great dinner there and everyone had a great time swimming. We didn't get home that night until about 10 PM. It was a late night but so worth it. We look forward to this every year. It's always a little bittersweet since my niece passed away. I remember feeding her a peanut butter finger just a few months before she passed, she got chocolate all over her face. I can't go there without thinking of her. Love you Baby Abbi!

Jackson got his first tooth today. It's been on the verge of coming and finally popped today. If he'll let me get a picture, I'll post it. It made me realize how fast he's growing and then I started to cry... My baby is getting to big! He hasn't been too fussy while teething which has been great. Brady was the same way. I've got such great boys! I love them so much!

Jackson has also started talking jibberish a lot more. He's always been pretty vocal, but today he started forming little sounds. You'll never guess what he was saying... "dadadadada". Even though I spend all day with him, it's all about DAD.
