Happy Anniversary, Love!

Steve and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary on Saturday, August 9. It was a great day! We bought some trees for our backyard to plant. It didn't take too long, but Steve was feeling it later so we decided to go and get massages. We went to Massage Envy in American Fork and took turns so we wouldn't have to get a babysitter for Brady. I went first and the massage therapist just worked on my back, arms and legs. When she was done, it was hard to get off the table. It felt like I needed to pop my back...it was a little painful. I thought massages were supposed to be relaxing!?! Steve went in after me, he had the same therapist and the same complaints that I had. His muscles are so tight that she had to practically sit on him to put enough pressure to relieve them. I think the next time we get massages, we'll go to my cousin's masseuse. I went to her while I was preggers with Brady and she did a great job. After our massages, we got ready for our anniversary date. We took Brady to my awesome aunt and uncle in Riverton so we could go to dinner and whatever else we decided to do. We dropped him off at about 6 and went to the Olive Garden for dinner. After dinner, we went to the mall for a while to wander around and we ended up in Macy's and bought a soft and comfy blanket for the new baby. After the mall, we were stumped for something to do, we wanted to do something we've never done before. We ended up going to a place called Color Me Mine where you can paint ceramic items and take them home. We painted a serving platter and a divided tray for dip and stuff. We had such a good time! When we got back to my aunt and uncle's house, Brady didn't want to come home, I guess he had a good time too!

On Sunday, Brady went to Nursery for the first time. We met the nursery leaders and introduced them to Brady. He was so excited! He got right down and went to play with the other kids. When we went to pick him up, they were blowing bubbles and he had the biggest smile on his face! His teachers said he did very well. He shared and took turns and everything. I had no worries. I knew he'd do well.

This morning, I had a weird half awake/half asleep dream. It was after Steve left for work and I had fallen back to sleep (Brady doesn't get up until about 8:30). In my dream, for some strange reason, my in-laws had moved to some strange South American country and I went to visit them without Brady and Steve. I was still pregnant and about 10 weeks from delivering but I went anyway. We went around and looked at some sights and I was introduced to some people they knew. We were about to get in the car and visit another site when all of a sudden, my water breaks! I'm thinking "OH MY GOSH! What am I going to do???" Even in my dream, I was really freaked out. I started having contractions and still had a slow leak of fluid. We hightailed it to the hospital (which was an hour away). As soon as we got there my contractions were getting really painful and we had to speak a secret password to get into the hospital. And it wasn't even a normal hospital, but like a natural, herbal, hippie type hospital. I start getting really antsy, I can't sit down because I'm in too much pain. I just pace until they have a room for me. As soon as I get in the bed, my water completely breaks and they take me to a different room to deliver the baby. I had to deliver him on the floor (not in a bed). It only took one push and he was here. The spitting image of Brady. He even sounded like Brady. And he was pretty big for being 10 weeks early. He looked to be about 8-ish pounds. After that, I woke up. Too bad, I would have loved to see how that dream turned out!

I'm glad you enjoyed your anniversary. For mine, I'm probably going to be having a baby ... in your natural, herbal, hippie-type hospital (ok, so actually not a hospital - at home, but still natural, herbal, and kind of hippie-type).

I'm jealous that Brady did so well in nursery. Matthew has been a couple times and didn't last very long either time before breaking down. I spent last Sunday in the Nursery with him, and the Sunday before that Matthew went to Priesthood with Burkely instead of staying in Nursery because he just wouldn't calm down after his break down. So, again, I'm jealous.

Happy Anniversary!!! Sounds like you guys had a blast. That was a weird dream, wow! It's so crazy how vivid and weird your dreams are when you are pregnant. =) Love your wedding picture too by the way! You are beautiful!
Oh and Cathy said you wanted to hang out sometime. That would be so much fun. We just need to figure out a day soon! =)
