It's been a long time since my last post. I've been pretty busy these last 3 weeks! I'll start with Easter weekend...

We decided to celebrate Easter on Saturday April 11 and teach the boys about the ressurection on Easter. Steve and I woke up on Saturday and hid the eggs before the boys woke up. We love to play Easter Bunny! Brady got a pair of sunglasses and a soccer ball, Jackson got a pair of sunglasses and a little train that rattles. They loved it!!

We headed up to Logan that day as well because my niece was being blessed on Easter Sunday. We got a hotel room courtesy of my father-in-law (thanks Doyle!) and stayed the night. On the way there, I ended up with an eye infection and went to the Instacare that night. I got a prescription (that didn't help) and suffered through until we got home on Sunday and went to my eye doctor on Monday. The blessing was beautiful. My niece looked so cute!

My eye started feeling much better once I got the right prescriptions and on April 17, we headed to the Salt Lake Temple to video my friend's wedding. She asked Steve to do her video since he put together a picture show for my neice's funeral in September 2006. She loved his work then and asked if he would be willing to do it. He had fun and did a great job! Brady, Jackson, and I wandered around the temple grounds while Steve was doing his thing and I took the opportunity to talk to Brady about the temple and how we're a Forever Family and how he can have a Forever Family too. I know he doesn't understand yet, but I can't pass up a teaching opportunity. He does know that it is a temple though.

My eye is finally all better and last weekend we just hung out around the house and got things done. It was a nice and relaxing weekend after a few busy weeks before.
