8 weeks, 3 days and counting!

Steve, Brady, and I went to Cottonwood Hospital early this morning for a visit with our Maternal and Fetal medicine specialist, Dr. Branch. We had another ultrasound done on our tiny baby and they said that the baby is measuring right on schedule and the heartbeat was just fine at 178 beats per minute. It was so great to hear the heartbeat, so reassuring! We saw the yolk sac and little arms and legs. Dr. Branch wants to see us again in 2 weeks, just to make sure things are still going well. When we were pregnant with Brady, I was going in weekly. Now, they feel like this pregnancy is going so well that I can go a little longer between visits. Dr. Branch said that something could still happen, but it's not as likely. We thought that was definelty good news. Plus, a positive attitude goes a long way! Yesterday, I had a visit with the nurse at my regular OBs office. They just went over general information like what medicines I can and can't take, when to call their office, when to worry...all that good stuff. I'll update again in the next few weeks!
